How it works
upon arrival
Upon arrival, the typical setup time is approximately 10 mins. After setup is complete, we will be ready for the first horse.
1
during the appointment
Most dental appointments are completed in approximately 30 minutes.
2
recovery & Aftercare
Please wait one hour before allowing your horse to eat, giving the sedation time to wear off completely.

You'll receive an email with a link to your horse's digital dental chart, including a diagram of the mouth and a summary of our findings.

The vast majority of horses can return to their normal routine the following day.
3
frequently asked questions
How does the trailer work?

The trailer features two stocks that slide out and sit on the exterior, facing inward. The first stock extends from the rear, while the second extends from the right side. The use of these stocks provides an optimal working position for both the horse and the dentist; it keeps the horse's head in a comfortable position. The horse remains standing on firm ground and does not need to be loaded into the trailer. Both the back gate and side gate of the stock open up, allowing for easy loading, even for horses with a history of trailer-loading issues.

what info do i need to provide on dental day?

We will need the owner's name, phone number, and email. We will also need the horse's name, age, breed, and any medical concerns (Note: we prefer not to work on pregnant mares for the safety of the fetus).

What forms of payment do we take?

Payment methods we accept: Check, Cash, Venmo, and Card (Note: Card payments have a 3% processing fee). We also ask for payment at the time of service.
